Even here in rural farming Oregon, far too many folks have never handled "gunz" in any positive way. Our job to take those who want and need Training to get it, and correctly.
Been a shooter since I was nine (currently 46, creaking along on poor kidneys to 47) have participated in all aspects of shooting sports including subgunning, Title-II toys, beltfeds, and "regular ole guns".
Main claim to Training fame is an aging NRA Cert along with 20_ years of actual on-the-line time as RO, CRO, RSO, CRSO, Medical Geek.
Spent 22 years in Vollie service FF/EMT as I moved from place to place on various jobs. Metal worker by former trade. Wrench, weld, fix tinker and unfinargle things.. (OK, as I tend to finargle them up first..)
Enjoy the look on a newbie shooters face when they indeed can "Shoot the White out of the Target", Makes the bad coffee and staled out donuts worth it.
