North Carolina and Utah (Non-Resident)

Tell us a little about yourself

North Carolina and Utah (Non-Resident)

Postby Ed on Sat Jan 26, 2008 5:54 pm

Hello All,

Found this site and decided to see where it leads. I am retired Army and work as an Army Civilian. My partner and I decided to become NC CCH instructors and have since added the ability to offer the Utah Non-Resident option to our students. We both attended the Utah Instuctor course to accomplish this. Most of our students are military or associated with the military. The Utah NR program is great for the transient nature of our students.

Hope to contribute and learn from the other members here.

Welcome,

Did you enjoy Utah when you came out here for the instructors class?

I sure did. I have been there several times. When I was in the National Guard, I went to SLC, Draper, Cedar City, and several other places several times. I have a cousin living in Layton. I and his brother drove from Denver (Mom lives there) and stayed with him while attending the class. I always liked Utah. I always liked the people too. I imagine a lot of the friendliness has changed with the influx of people from the "left coast." Would like to go back out there again. Don't look forward to being forced to go back just to sit through a "refresher" or what ever BCI is going to call it. I have another year before that happens and hope they develop an online re-certification program. We'll see what happens.

Be sure to let me know if your ever back in the area. I'm down in the Kanab area, but I go to SLC to see the grandbaby all the time.
