I'm adding a instructor listing. What would you like to see on the listings? I could do just a name, address & email and hyperlink to any webpages.

For Name, I would like to specify something like "TXCHLInstructor", and not my full real name. My day job is for an outfit that is rabidly anti-gun (among other problems), and I am in the process of seeking another position. One of the things that a prospective employer does these days is a Google search on an applicant's name. You can still see my CHL-TX.com website in a search on my name, but since my name is now only in a GIF on the site, the SERP is going down for that keyword phrase.

After a few more years, I hope that is no longer a problem. I will be retiring soon, and will probably be self-employed doing CHL classes (and some other activities not related to CHL).

I have noticed that this forum is quite slow. If you would like a good deal on a much faster host, please drop me a PM. I am also in the hosting business (HOSTPCI.COM).

I'm working on it now, I getting so many registrations so quickly I'm getting behind on some things. But registrations are a good thing.

I think a listing of Members of the association is a good idea. Any kind of assocation that can bring professional organazition to something as vital as firearms instruction is a good idea IMO. We have to be able to always freely admit that we don't have all the answers and still have much to learn and share. Doing so with similarly trained individuals is always productive.

I hope to see this association become productive and helpful to all. Listing those in the association is a good thing because we then have a method of improving communication when we need it. My only suggestion would be that a list of anything more than name and location be password protected. Personally, I've had my information plastered all over the internet for years so personally, that kind of privacy isn't much of an issue but there are those that do need it kept more private.

For those that don't have web sites, a contact email address might be a good idea. Just thinking out loud.

Just looked at the Instructor Listing. It's very well done.

There is one suggestion I'd offer - there's no link from the forums to the main web site that I can find. That's GOT to be an oversight. I would have thought the "Home" button would take you there but it just takes you to the main forum page.

Good job on the listings Dan.
